Dr. Jon Krohn is a best-selling author, host of the world’s most listened-to Data Science podcast and a thought leader on Technology and AI. He serves as Co-Founder and Chief Data Scientist at Nebula, a machine learning company that is reimagining the future of work. Previously, he was the Chief Data Scientist at untapt, an AI startup that was acquired in 2020. His professional experiencing applying machine learning spans a range of verticals, including financial markets, digital advertising, healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Krohn has published dozens of hours of video tutorials on AI, including as part of his online course, The Mathematical Foundations of Machine Learning, which has been purchased by over 120,000 students. In 2023, he hosted The Network Effect, a series on Bloomberg TV that highlighted how technology is transforming industries.
Despite more than 15 years of experience applying machine learning commercially, Dr. Krohn remains an academic at heart. He lectures at top universities (Columbia, Waterloo and NYU) as well as at leading conferences and corporations. He obtained his doctorate in neuroscience from Oxford University by developing and applying machine learning models to large-scale genetic, behavioral and brain-imaging data.
