David Houle is a futurist, thinker and keynote speaker. Over the last fourteen years he has delivered over 1,500 presentations in 16 countries and on 6 continents. Houle won a Speaker of the Year award from Vistage International, the leading organization of CEOs in the world. He is often called the “CEOs’ futurist” having spoken to or advised over 4,000 CEOs and business owners. Houle is the best-selling author of many books and writes a popular and respected Substack newsletter called Evolutionshift: A Future Look at Today.
He has authored or co-authored 14 books, more than any other active futurist in the world. His best-sellers and award-winning titles include The New Health Age: The Future of Health Care in America (2011), Entering the Shift Age (2013), Brand Shift: The Future of Brands and Marketing (2014), and The 2020s: The Golden Age of Design and Redesign (2021).
Houle has delivered speeches to scientists at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, The National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and at Burning Man. He has also delivered 5 TEDx talks in the last 10 years.
Houle was Futurist in Residence and Guest Lecturer at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida from 2011-2020. He was Honorary President and Futurist of the Future Business School of China.
