Shawn Meaike, the founder of Family First Life speaks about his motivation to change the life insurance market

This brings us to the fact that recently, Integrity Marketing Group, LLC (“Integrity”), the nation’s largest independent distributor of life and health insurance products to the Senior Market, announced that it had completed the acquisition of Family First Life, an insurance marketing organization headquartered in Connecticut. As part of the deal, Family First Life President and Founder Shawn Meaike will become an owner in Integrity.

When Family First Life, opened in 2014, it had just 1 Carrier (Americo) and was facing the challenges of a true start-up with no capital. They laid the foundation of their company by empowering over enabling while teaching Agents (theirs & at other IMOs) how to submit $10,000 in Premium every week. They clearly explained how it cannot be in business without purchasing leads. But they believed that the most impactful thing they established is that anyone can be successful in this business if they put in the work & effort.

Today, Family First Life is one of the largest insurance marketing organizations (IMOs) in the United States focused on life insurance and annuity markets. Meaike and his leadership team have transformed the life insurance industry with a relentless focus on providing world-class service to more than 17,000 agents throughout the country. They are specialized in mortgage protection, life insurance, final expense life insurance, retirement planning through universal life policies and retirement protection through the use of fixed index annuities. They have multiple insurance carriers inclusive of Americo, Mutual of Omaha and various others that they work with in order to be able to meet all the client’s needs.

“You can achieve anything you want to with a great attitude & mindset. No success and nor rewards come from those who idle by and let life pass them by.” This was a piece of advice Meaike got at the beginning of his career and since then, he has held it in his heart and mind.
