Jeff Margolese is the Senior Vice President for the ServiceNow Global Solution Consulting (SC) organization. Mr. Margolese joined ServiceNow in 2015 to lead the company’s SC organization for the Americas region. He moved into his current role as SVP in February of 2019 and currently leads a team of 2,200 pre-sales solution consultants worldwide.
In his role at ServiceNow, Mr. Margolese helps set the strategic direction for the Solution Consulting organization ensuring the global segments of ServiceNow’s business have the right tools, processes, and people in place to make our customers successful in achieving their digital transformation.
Mr. Margolese also meets with customers all over in the world in various industries to learn about their business issues and to provide ServiceNow solutions that create the most value. Mr. Margolese spearheaded the creation of the Workflow Design Studio (WDS), a unique team within the SC organization that works directly with customers to solve some of their most challenging problems using a human-centered design approach.
Mr. Margolese has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining ServiceNow, he spent 10 years at VMware as the Senior Director of Systems Engineering and managed a team of more than 45 engineers in the central region of the United States. Mr. Margolese worked with various companies such as DELL, American Airlines, Sabre, El Paso Energy, Mcafee, HEB, Citibank, Southwest, BMC, and Entergy while at VMware to develop their virtualization and cloud strategies.
Prior to his role as a senior director, he held sales engineering positions with Sterling Commerce (IBM) and webMethods (Software AG). While serving as a director at webMethods, Mr. Margolese worked with customers such as Citibank, Lockheed Martin and DELL. His primary focus at the time was on application integration and business process management.
Mr. Margolese began his career in application development while living in Canada. He moved to the United States in 1994 to join the application development practice of a boutique consulting firm. Many of the applications he worked on were in the telecom industry for such companies as Verizon and Alcatel-Lucent. Eventually, Mr. Margolese helped grow the application development practice and led a team of 100 developers, while also helping the company go public in 1999.
Mr. Margolese holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Winnipeg, Canada. He resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife Shaleen.
