“On Saturday afternoon, people were lined out the door waiting to see TEDx Anchorage 2015 at the Z. J. Loussac Library. This day-long event’s goal was spreading the knowledge of energizing Alaska. Whether it is through industrialism, power, or personal stories, many strong speakers depicted their knowledge to a full audience.
Former TNL employee and member in Anchorage Chamber of Commerce Cory Hester spoke about successful Geotourism in Alaska. Hester discussed how this international trend has transformed Alaska’s tourism industry with his speech, Alaska Geotourism, What the Traveler Wants.”
