“The Paulson Institute and the China Center for International Economic Exchanges today co-hosted the second annual meeting of its CEO Council for Sustainable Urbanization to assess and build on the progress made by the Council over the past year.
During today’s meeting, the CEOs continued to address issues at the heart of the Council’s mission: finding concrete solutions that will help China achieve its historic urbanization goals in an environmentally sustainable way.
Since its inception in November 2014, the Council has launched a landmark sustainable building project, published a building-code roadmap, developed a digital environmental awareness campaign aimed at Chinese millennials, and launched a series of case studies highlighting best practices in sustainable business, energy, finance and housing, as well as other research about efficient buildings and energy reform.”
