How do you face a terminal diagnosis with humor and grace?
–
Nataly’s guest, Brooke Eby, has found a way and she shares her humor, deep wisdom and inspiring perspective in this episode.
–
Brooke was diagnosed with ALS at 33. It’s a terminal disease that doesn’t have a cure and the average life expectancy is 2-5 years after diagnosis.
–
But she has chosen to face this disease with her signature humor and resilience and to use her (awesome!) voice and growing platform (she has 100s of thousands of followers on Instagram and TikTok) to bring attention to ALS and advocate for more funding and research.
–
“Life is not forever for any of us,” Brooke tells Nataly during their conversation. It is a powerful reminder to live fully, even when life challenges us to our core.
