“A few ETSU organizations are preparing to host to a popular politician this spring.
ETSU’s College Republicans and Young Americans for Freedom organizations will host former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich on campus in March.
The organizations’ chair, Brandon Johnson, says the purpose of Gingrich’s visit will be to speak about the topic of political civility in the midst of political leaders that spread hate.”
