MICK MULVANEY: The assessment that I would give is that just it’s dangerous. We’re moving into uncharted territory. I liked that clip very much that you just played from Speaker Gingrich. He’s absolutely right. Inflation is a hidden tax. And that’s where the Democrats are pushing us.
We have decided I think as a country that it’s OK to spend as much money as we possibly want on everything that we want. I disagree with that. Some Republicans do. Not everybody does. A lot of Democrats disagree with that. They want to spend as much as they possibly can. It’s a very dangerous place for us to be.
