He would go on to serve as an F-22 test pilot and eventually lead as the commander of Joint Base Andrews, the commander of Edwards Air Force Base, and our nation’s Senior Defense Official in Iraq. General Teichert ended his service in the Air Force as the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs. During his career, he logged over 2,000 flight hours in 38 different aircraft types.
