Former Govs. Frank Keating of Oklahoma and Lincoln Almond of Rhode Island also endorsed Bush. The campaign said 15 former governors are lined up behind Bush including Tom Ridge of Pennsylvania, Fife Symington of Arizona, Tommy Thompson of Wisconsin and Bill Weld of Massachusetts.
