“Dentons has appointed former US presidential candidate Newt Gingrich as an adviser to the firm‘s public policy and regulation practice.
Gingrich, who was previously speaker of the House of Representatives between 1995 and 1999, ran as a candidate for the Republican nomination for president in the 2012 election.
Though the politician has no legal training it is understood he will work with the firm to advise clients on navigating the political landscape. He will take up the role on 1 June.”
