As an NFL Hall of Fame inductee and the highest-rated quarterback in NFL history, Steve Young is celebrated as one of the greatest football players of all time.  His 15-year football career includes such stellar achievements as Super Bowl XXIX Most Valuable Player (MVP), NFL MVP in 1992 and 1994, and seven consecutive Pro Bowl appearances.

Now, the same qualities that brought him success on the field have led to his significant accomplishments off the field including as an entrepreneur, lawyer, dedicated philanthropist and corporate spokesman.  Steve shares his message of dedication, tenacity, hard work and leadership to audiences around the globe and his charismatic delivery combined with his powerful message leave audiences energized and inspired to deliver their best every day.

Committed to Helping Those in Need

Steve Young is best known as the legendary quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers during the 1990s.  However, Steve Young has also established himself as a highly-regarded, dedicated philanthropist and his contributions to numerous charities are vast.  In 1993, he founded the Forever Young Foundation (FYF), which serves children who face significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges by providing academic, athletic, and therapeutic opportunities unavailable to them.  Development efforts include the creation of Forever Young Zones, which include technology labs in Y.E.T. Centers (in cooperation with the NFL) and interactive, recreational therapy areas in health care facilities, and the support of approved community outreach programs and local charitable organizations whose purpose is to serve children.  Steve is also the broadcast host as well the former International Spokesperson for the Children's Miracle Network, which has raised over one billion dollars to benefit children's hospitals and frequently donates his time to youth groups across the country as a motivational speaker.

In addition to his humanitarian activities, Steve is also a corporate spokesperson for high-profile companies such as Visa, Nike, Sprint, PowerBar, ICON Health & Fitness, and Sun Microsystems. He currently serves on the board for Foundry Networks as well as an analyst on the pre- and post-game shows for ESPN's Monday Night Football. Additionally, Steve authored a children's book entitled Forever Young, which has received several accolades and awards for its positive message of self-esteem for kids.
