Former St. Louis Rams' Running Back Marshall Faulk is widely regarded as one of the greatest all around athletes ever in professional sports.  A Super Bowl Champion, NFL MVP, seven-time Pro Bowl player and six-time All-Pro team member, Faulk holds several NFL records and is the only player to have 100+ rushing touchdowns and 30+ receiving touchdowns.

His stellar accomplishments on the field have only been matched by his remarkable philanthropic efforts off the field.  In addition to his numerous personal contributions to charities nationwide, his Marshall Faulk Foundation has provided more than $1 million in financial assistance as well as hands-on involvement to programs benefiting inner-city youth and underprivileged children in Indianapolis, St. Louis, New Orleans, and San Diego. The mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life and increase opportunities for inner city youth throughout the country.

A Modern-Day Football Legend

Marshall Faulk's successful football career started early at San Diego State University, where he left holding many of the school's all-time offensive records as well as ranking second on the NCAA's all-time list of career touchdowns (62).  Faulk was then drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 1994 and, in 1998, joined the St. Louis Rams. During that first season with the Rams, he was named Offensive Player of the Year and helped the team win the Super Bowl. Faulk was named NFL MVP in 2000 with over 2,000 yards of total offense and 26 total touchdowns (an NFL record for the time). He continued to churn out the yards over the next four seasons, but following a disappointing 2005 season, his career came to an end due to reconstructive knee surgery. Faulk, a seven-time Pro Bowler, ended his career with 12,279 career rushing yards (ninth all-time), 100 career rushing touchdowns (seventh all-time), 6,875 receiving yards, 36 receiving touchdowns, and 19,154 total yards from scrimmage (fourth all-time).
