Successfully Conquering Complex Challenges

Jeff Evans has spent years exploring and working in the mountains cultivating the necessary skills to become a world-class mountain guide and member of the prestigious Explorers Club. The turning point in his guiding abilities came in the early 1990s when he embraced the responsibilities to guide a then unknown and blind climber, Erik Weihenmayer. Together, they problem-solved methods of adventure, travel, and communication to tackle the most challenging climbing and mountaineering endeavors ever attempted by a disabled athlete. Some of their more notable ascents include Mt McKinley, El Capitan, Leaning Tower, and Aconcagua; their expeditions culminated with a summit of Mt Everest in 2001 that gained international attention as the first successful blind summit of the highest mountain in the world.

Inspiring Others to Achieve More

Jeff is the founder of MountainVision, Inc., bringing his dynamic messages of personal growth to corporate and civic groups across the globe.  He is also the owner/operator of MountainVision Expeditions, providing adventurous persons the opportunity to challenge themselves on some of the most well-known global treks and expeditions around the world.  Based on his incredible adventures, Jeff authored the book MountainVision: Lessons Beyond the Summit and is featured as one of the main characters in two award-winning documentaries, Farther Than the Eye Can See and Blindsight.
